In these poems, told from the writer’s home on the outskirts of the city, dreams recur, lore emerges, memory merges with imagination, artifice with nature, and the physical with other possibilities.

Elana Wolff lives in Toronto, Canada and teaches English as a Second Language at York University. Her poetry has appeared in numerous publications in Canada, the US, and abroad, including Canadian Literature, Descant, The Fiddlehead, The Jabberwock Review, The Oregonian, and Poetry Ireland Review. Elana Wolff grew up and was educated in Toronto. She has taught English as a Second Language at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is currently teaching ESL at the York University English Language Institute.
