This is a dazzling collection of lively and luminous poems, many of which resonate with a song-like quality that reflects her passion for music. Hartsfield holds a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and is a recipient of the National Piano Guild Paderewski Medal. She is a member of the piano faculty of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and regularly performs as a solo pianist and chamber musician. Her work has appeared in The Malahat Review, The Fiddlehead, and Toronto Life.
